Joline van den Oever (1988) graduated in 2012 from the Willem de Kooning Academy of Art and Design (Rotterdam, The Netherlands) in the direction of Lifestyle & Design. Ready to take on the world as a trendwatcher, content creator and concept developer!
Joline currently works as a shopping editor for Volkskrant Magazine where she shares the latest updates regarding design trends and the newest lifestyle products with their readers. She is also involved in the creative team of social fashion brand Granny’s Finest. This social enterprise fights loneliness amongst elderly people by organizing weekly knitting clubs. Joline created 5 issues of the Granny’s Finest Magazine and is responsible for creative management, visual branding, identity and styling as well as content creation such as writing blogs, press releases, newsletters and keeping up with social media such as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and Pinterest.
Joline loves to travel and explore new cities and places. She curates, photographs and writes about cool places and hotspots in different Dutch cities for clients such as SPOOR. One day, she hopes to explore the world as a digital nomad. Therefore, she communicates in English on this website to be able to connect to as many people as possible.
Joline has a good eye. She knows what will look good on a photo and captures this in her own and accessible way. Apart from that she knows what readers want to read and see. It’s pleasant to work with Joline because she is precise, sticks to deadlines and is nice to get on with.
